  I order online frequently and several times the post office has "lost" my package, saying it was delivered when it is nowhere to be found. They blame it on it most likely being stolen, even though I've never had this issue with other carriers, such as FedEx, even on the same day. You have one job to do... make sure the mail goes to the right house. I've never had such an issue as i have with this particular post office and I've lived in several different areas of North Carolina. Even in Raleigh, my mail was always delivered and never lost. Here, the post office is full of excuses and mail delivered to the wrong place. It's gotten to where I'll only try to order from places online that DON'T use USPS.

  I just saw the posted reviews for this post office and am surprised at how strongly negative many of the recent ones are. They don't reflect my experiences using this post office for more than 14 years. Hopefully the complaints are from one carrier's service area. Our regular carrier is great and the folks in the office have been very friendly and helpful. Most of the substitute carriers have also provided good service. There was one substitute for a couple years who was terrible...often mis-delivered mail and broke my Netflix DVDs by folding them inside other mail. Bringing it to the postmaster's attention helped improve that situation and stopped when they were finally able to get rid of him. We are glad to be served by a small rural post office and very pleased with the people we deal with.
